Billy Evans took questions from fans on X on Monday, November 2, discussing Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s documentary “You Can See Everything” and his relationship with Elizabeth Holmes. He said he would answer only questions that were “legally permissible.”
The three-hour film follows Holmes and Evans in San Diego during the month before she reported to federal prison, then examines Evans’ influence on her and their partnership. The couple have two children and are working to launch a blood-testing startup, according to the film’s account in the source report.
Evans explained that his frequent sniffing in the documentary was due to allergies. Asked about speculation that he used Cocaine, he replied, “Never been a fan.” He also denied having real control over Holmes, while saying he remains romantically devoted to her and misses her presence and touch.
He offered an explanation for an abrupt moment in the film when he ends a beach conversation with Fielder after being asked about his family’s wealth. Evans said he was late for his cousin’s marriage proposal and suggested he arrived in time.
Evans also rejected the suggestion that he wanted to appear fully nude in the documentary, calling it a “false narrative.” He linked to a People story describing him as having been “violated” by the scene and urged fans to “trust the sources.”
Beyond the film, Evans answered questions about his cultural tastes, naming Chappell Roan, Kendrick Lamar, Charlie Kirk and Taylor Swift. He said he bought Holmes’ engagement ring at merchandise booths during Swift’s Reputation tour.
