Harrison Ford has joined Greg Berlanti, Goldie Hawn and Melissa McCarthy as a honoree at the Paley Center for Media’s Paley Honors Fall Gala. The event is scheduled for Dec. 3 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

The annual gala recognizes contributions to media and supports the Paley Center’s education programs and preservation of its archive of television and radio programs. The archive contains more than 160,000 titles.

Paley Center president and CEO Maureen J. Reidy praised Ford’s work across action and dramatic roles, also noting his Emmy-nominated performance as Dr. Paul Rhoades in “Shrinking.” Ford is expected to return for the show’s fourth season.

Berlanti’s upcoming projects include “How to Survive Without Me,” “Scooby-Doo: Origins,” “Stillwater” and “Afterlife with Archie.” Hawn is promoting her children’s book series “The After School Kindness Crew,” while McCarthy is starring in Netflix’s limited series “The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey.”

Each honoree will receive the Paley Honors Award, the organization’s highest distinction, which recognizes significant contributions and lasting impact on the entertainment industry. The gala will also feature tributes to their careers.
