Harry Styles marked the final night of his 30-show run at Madison Square Garden with a distinctly New York Halloween costume, unexpected guests and an emotional goodbye to the sold-out crowd.
For the second night of his annual “Harryween” concerts, Styles appeared in a full rat suit while carrying a slice of pizza, drawing on the viral “Pizza Rat” subway video from 2015. He even played guitar with rat-claw nails before changing out of the costume because of the heat. He continued the theme with rat ears, a tail and an “I’m a rat” T-shirt.
His band joined the New York-inspired celebration by dressing as local landmarks and cultural figures, including the Statue of Liberty, Andy Warhol and Anna Wintour. Fans also arrived in costumes ranging from Bob Ross and dancing lobsters to Nikki from Curry Barker’s “Obsession.” Styles’ fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, was among those in attendance.
The evening’s main surprise came when New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson walked onstage during Styles’ second costume to present him with a banner commemorating the residency. Brunson said he wanted to congratulate Styles on his 30th show after the singer had recently attended the Knicks’ banner night. He then joked that Styles still had some catching up to do because Brunson had attended three concerts while Styles had been to only one game.
Styles performed the setlist fans had followed throughout the residency, beginning with “Dance No More” and ending with “Aperture,” from his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” The show also included “Satellite,” “Watermelon Sugar,” “As It Was” and “Sign of the Times,” as well as a new addition: Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.”
The singer continued his playful exchanges with the audience, joking with a fan whose crush had just become engaged and offering advice to a young boy who had skipped trick-or-treating for his first concert. Styles encouraged the child to enjoy the show and brush his teeth before bed.
Near the end of the concert, Styles thanked fans who had traveled from around the world to attend the residency. He became emotional as he reflected on the support he had received and said the audience had changed his life repeatedly. After the formal end of the show, he stayed onstage for about 20 more minutes, walking around the stage, blowing kisses, eating pizza and dancing with his band.
The Madison Square Garden residency is over, but Styles’ “Together, Together” tour continues. He is scheduled to perform in Melbourne beginning Nov. 27 before ending the 2026 run in Sydney in December. The North American leg is set to resume in April 2027, followed by European dates and three concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium on Aug. 25, 27 and 28.
