The Erich Pommer Institut has announced the 15 producers selected for the sixth edition of Series’ Women, its European female leadership program. The participants represent 12 countries and work for production companies across the continent.
Launched in 2021, Series’ Women is designed to help female producers advance their careers, expand their professional networks and raise the profile of projects led by women in the European screen industry.
The program includes expert training in visibility, leadership and digital entrepreneurship, alongside individual mentoring and pitching coaching adapted to each participant’s career objectives. It also offers networking opportunities at European industry events, including TV Drama Vision in Sweden and Series Mania Forum in Lille, France.
The initiative addresses diversity at both individual and organizational levels. In addition to supporting the selected producers, it includes an online diversity course for hiring managers and decision-makers at their companies, covering gender equality and diversity in the workplace.
“Series’ Women offers female producers a valuable space to exchange experiences, build European networks and strengthen their professional profiles,” said Gabriela Seidel-Hollaender, project manager for international female leadership programs at the Erich Pommer Institut. She added that the institute is proud to present the program for a sixth edition and support a stronger and more sustainable European series industry.
