GQ is expanding its Men of the Year celebrations in Los Angeles to three events, its largest annual rollout for the franchise. The 31st edition will be led by global editorial director Adam Baidawi, who took over the role in February 2026.

Cover stars Chris Rock, Andrew Garfield and Matt Damon will serve as co-hosts, recognized for their work in Misty Green, Artificial and The Odyssey, respectively. This year’s honorees also include director of the year Denis Villeneuve for Dune: Part Three and designer of the year Michael Rider of Celine.

The program begins Nov. 10 at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art with a champagne reception for Villeneuve, a live recording of GQ’s One More Question interview series and a VIP screening of Dune: Part Two. The franchise’s final installment is scheduled to arrive on Dec. 18, according to the source.

On Nov. 11, GQ will host a “Breakouts” house party at the Sheats-Goldstein Residence, celebrating 13 figures from film, television, music, comedy and podcasting. The publication said the list will appear on GQ.com on Nov. 9.

The Men of the Year event returns to Chateau Marmont on Nov. 12. The evening will begin with an intimate dinner honoring the magazine’s cover stars, including filmed tributes from special guests, before continuing with the annual party for figures from entertainment, fashion, sports and culture.

Baidawi said the expanded Los Angeles program is intended to celebrate the honorees’ work, explore the ideas behind it and introduce emerging talent.
