IndieWire video producer Trevor Wallace has won a Daytime Emmy for his work on the first season of “IndieWire Craft Roundtables.” He received the award for Editing for a Daytime Studio Program at the 53rd annual Daytime Emmys, held at the Hollywood Palladium on October 30.
Wallace won on his first nomination. He works across IndieWire’s video output, producing and editing content for projects including Filmmaker Toolkit, Future of Filmmaking, and other editorial and sponsored productions.
“IndieWire Craft Roundtables” Season 1 consisted of four episodes hosted by IndieWire’s Jim Hemphill. Each installment focused on a different filmmaking department: cinematography, editing, production design, or casting. The series aired on PBS SoCal and streamed through the PBS App, alongside related coverage on IndieWire.com.
Wallace’s winning entry was the editing roundtable, featuring Kirk Baxter, Affonso Goncalves, Michael P. Shawver, Andy Jurgensen, Pamela Martin, Saar Klein, and Luke Lynch.
IndieWire also received a nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Daytime Studio Non-Fiction Series, recognizing executive producer Mary Pelloni’s work on the program. The nominations placed the publication alongside broadcast talk shows in the Daytime Emmy categories.
The series returned for a second season in June 2026, expanding to six episodes focused on prominent television shows of the year.
